The bright smiling moon now rose

 And the dusty windows were closed

I’m on a bed preparing to doze

Hearing noises of closing doors.

So I slowly closed my eyes

Hoping my awaited dream to be nice

I asked: What’s in for this night?

And hoped that it’ll give me delight.

Then suddenly I found myself walking

And all I see is something black coming

But all I know is I’m dreaming

So, what will this dream bring?

What does this thing mean?

It appears to be uncertain

It’s as if I’m having a horrible dream

Oh, I badly want to scream.

I touched the thing hued black

Then suddenly a pair of wings grew on my back

But I was awakened by the cock

And found a feather on my back.

Bizarre Sensation

There’s this someone who weakens me,

Is this kryptonite that I see?

I’m trying to be strong as I can be

But this someone is the reason why my strengths flee.

I don’t know why but it seems I want to cry

Because I don’t’ have the guts to try

And I’m not that tough to identify

I can’t understand this emotion, oh my.

I know for sure it’s not love

But why can I see myself as a dove?

Like a caged bird that cannot even groove

That constantly hopes someday I can rove.

I see that this feeling is somehow bizarre

Because I don’t know what the causes are

This situation of mine is truly weird

If so, then I’ll be forever a bird.

A Narrative Report About The MIC Convention

 Together As One

Last January 17-18, 2012, the MIC Cluster Gathering took place. The event was held at Betania Retreat House. There were seven RVM Schools which participated in the gathering. The Mother Ignacia Club members of the respective schools had an overnight stay at the retreat house. There were activities that aimed to create a camaraderie among the participants. The event had been a very nice experience for the students.

The delegates from Saint Mary's Academy of Dalaguete arrived at the venue at around 11 A.M. The first to arrive was SMA Capiz. Upon reaching the place, the students had a registration and were given their room numbers. After that, they took a little rest and had their lunch. The students had enough and went back to their respective rooms to prepare their selves for the Holy Mass which was celebrated at around 3 P.M. After the mass, the students went back to the refectory to eat their snacks. The eating of snacks  was immediately followed by a talk which oriented the the participants about their stay and was followed by their dinner. The students had no problems during their stay for they are in complete comfort.

The activities that followed the dinner were the about talks. The first talk was about the RVM foundress, Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo. The students gained information about Mo. Ignacia. After the talk, it was followed by a talk again about Faith by Fr. Ruel de Samparado; he was a very good speaker. The club members were surely enlightened and were inspired by the different talks.

The next activities were about group talks and group sharing that made the participants knew their co-MIC members from different schools. The emcees of the activity were Mr. Leo Casinillo and Ms. Abegail of SMA San Nicolas. They were very entertaining and in fact, the participants were delighted by their hosting skills. There was an activity called "Amazing Race" which was facilitated by SMA Capiz students. The participants had so much fun because their skills have been developed through the activity. The activities were helpful for the students and made them know the participants from different schools.

The event was a big success. The humble servants were surely inspired by their stay at the house. They came to know Mo. Ignacia more and deepen their faith to God.

Biology (Artificial and Natural Methods)

Life is the most precious gift of God to humanity. It is what we thank for everyday for without life, we can not interact and see the people that we knew  until now. Life is likened to an ice cream by some. It is likened to an ice cream for it only lasts for a short period of time. They say we should enjoy eating before it melts. Life may be short but it is too precious to waste. Life is the best gift of God to His people.

God commanded his people to multiply but for me not too much. The couples we have right now are getting irresponsible. They produce babies without limit. The result of it is the problem of the society right now, the overpopulation. The government is finding the best solution. They have found the birth control methods. This method has two kinds, the artificial and the natural birth control.

Birth control method has two kinds;the artificial and the natural methods. The artificial birth control requires a party or a tool. The examples of this artificial methods are: condom, ligation, vasectomy, IUD and more. The second kind is natural birth control. This control does not need any aid or tool. This only requires attention. The examples of this method are : withdrawal, rhythm calendar and more. These methods are what the government tries to implement for the people to apply these methods in their daily lives, but in every positive reaction there goes it's opposite. The church is against for the artificial but they go for the natural. For me, the best solution for this problem is self discipline. The two kinds of birth controls are artificial and natural in which,  the government tries to implement to prevent overpopulation.

COUNTER STRIKE THE TEST

 

    One of the precious gift of God to us is life. Life is what encourages us thank God everyday for this precious gift.God trusted us and He gave us the authority to be the author of His gift, our life. We are the author of our own lives so, we could do what we want and that's the best part of it.Life is made up of happiness,sadness and challenges that we have to search for and that's what makes it as precious.

    Life is not just happiness but it has challenges and it comes with purposes. Challenges are God-given tests to make us stronger and more courageous. It makes us braver,better persons and it increases our self-esteem when we are able to conquer and overcome it successfully. It would never stop testing us because it is a part of life and it would be greater to make  us more courageous and braver than before. Life indeed is paired with challenges which comes with purposes.

   One of the challenges in life is temptation. Temptations are part of the challenges in a life of an every individual. Temptations are for everyone who seeks success,victory and happiness because it tests us on how determined we are to pursue our goal.Temptations are hindrances,obstacles and barriers towards success. It is considered as a common challenge to mostr of us because it is everywhere and it may come anytime.

   Temptations are everywhere and comes anytime. They are part of our day-to-day activities. Overcoming temptations has ways; first is discernment, it is all about thinking and second is decision-making it is all bout making decisions. These two ways are the key to overcome temptation. Temptations are present anytime, anywhere but we can overcome it successfully through particular ways.

   There are ways to overcome temptation. It depends to ourselves if we would give in to it or we would find ways to conquer or to counteract to prevent committing sin. Temptation is a dark pathway for us people to commit sin. THE ONLY WAY TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION IS PRAYER!!!

   BEWARE! TEMPTATION IS ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE!

The Merry Month of December

The month of December is the happiest month of the year. Colorful lights will be turned on, delicious food will be cooked and blankets would be out for the cool wind that stays with us during night and dawn. Different colors of lights remind me of the different big round new colorful boxes. The cool air reminds me of the feeling when I am in a ride going to the church. The delicious food reminds me of the good smell of the big heart-shaped newly baked cookies. Christmas reminds me of happy events. Happy events make me feel merry.

Family Bonding: A Cause Of Harmony

Families are basic units of society. They are part of the society because they form a household. Each members of the family plays a specific role. A family is not a family if it’s incomplete.
The Municipality of Dalaguete will celebrate its tri-centennial town fiesta this coming month of February. They have different activities for their annual town fiesta. The Dalaguete Heritage with the support of the local government is choosing for an ideal family.
A family is a basic unit of the society the members stay in one home and because of that a family forms a household. A family has different members and each member plays different roles. The first member of the family is the father; his role is to provide the needs of his family. Next is the mother who is also known as the light of the family, her role is to discipline her children and to make sure that her children and husband is in good condition. The last members are the children, they are the people whom their parents gave their love most and their role is to obey their parents and to love them also. Each members of the family plays different roles and they have different positions.
Families have different classifications. Families are can be classified as good or bad. Good families are the families that were bind because of their love and understanding. They are the families that have harmony and understanding to every member. They are also the families that contain the supporting members when it comes to the decisions of each fellow member. The classification of the family only states the relationship to each other. Pardo family belongs to the good classification of family.
Pardo family is a good and harmonious family. The members of the family understand with each other. They love each other and they bond together. Love serves their strength it is the reason why they are still together through the years.
The father of the family is Mr. Joseph Pardo he is a strict and an industrious father. He works hard to provide the needs of his family. He is a successful teacher and he is now teaching at the University of Cebu. He is strict when it comes to the relationships of her children to peer and he does not want his children to have special relationships. His different values assisted him in acquiring his success in life.
The mother of the family is Mrs. Rossanna Pardo she is a caring mother. She is a light that truly guides. She is always checking the conditions of her children and husband. Whenever one of the members would get sick, she would immediately consults a doctor and would buy a medicine. She always tells her children not to do bad because it might add dirt to their image. Mrs. Rossanna Pardo is a doctor-like mother and brings the rule of teaching in her family.
The children of the family are Hanna, Jane and Zerge they have different values. Hanna a college student is an intelligent and caring sister she studies hard and she was the first honor in their class. Jane on the other hand is a wise spender whenever she has a free time, she helps her mother in doing tasks and aside from being a wise spender, she is friendly. Zerge is a high school student he is now in the seminary maybe he is destined to be a servant of God he is an obedient son and he always make her sisters happy. Children in the family come from the same stem but they don’t have the same values.
Family bonding leads to the harmony of the family. A family that bonds together has harmony. Harmony is the one that binds the heart, soul and mind together. A harmonious family is a good family because it strengthens the power that keeps the relationships of the members lasts long. The support of the family members to each other is also caused by harmony that was created by bonding. Family bonding is truly the cause of the harmony in the family.
